For my Brides, once you inquire we will discuss your vision for your day, secure your date with a deposit and sign a contract and hit the ground running with planning for your big day!
I am with you from the moment you inquire until after the wedding (hopefully for many years after!). We will get any sessions included with your package scheduled and begin to create your custom timeline. Once your big day arrives, sit back and enjoy the day... and put your trust in your vendors and bridal parties to ensure the day is all you dreamed of!
Travel fees may apply if outside of local area. This will be discussed before the signing of a contract.

How do I schedule?
Scheduling is super easy! There are multiple ways to book.

If you are a bride (or researching photographers for a bride) I say we grab a cup of coffee or a beverage of your choice in person to discuss your thoughts on wedding details, see if personalities match well, save your date with a deposit and go over contracts.

How do we receive our images?
Wedding images are placed on a USB drive and delivered in person or via postal mail, as well as downloadable through an online gallery.
Portrait Sessions are downloadable via an online link to your own online gallery.
How long will it take to get our pictures back?
Depending on wedding day coverage provided, an average wedding day takes about 2-3 months to edit and deliver.
For portrait sessions turnaround time is roughly 15-30 days.
What kind of gear do you use?
Erin Hiser Photography uses Nikon gear. The primary camera used is a Nikon D750 with interchangeable lenses to capture the best shot. Adobe products are used in post editing to further enhance your images.
We have never had professional pictures, how do we prepare and what do we do during our session?
Erin Hiser Photography will guide you during your session with posing and prompts. Erin Hiser uses prompts to bring out your unique personality and make the session fun. Just be yourself and let me capture it. Styling guides are also available upon request to better assist you with wardrobe and preparations before your session.
Do you travel for sessions?
Erin Hiser Photography does travel throughout Virginia and surrounding states.
